The most important post since 2014 until now,
I recommend all part 1 candidates to read it carefully.
♥️THE 7 GOLDEN POINTS- NEW EXAM SYSTEM♥️
Proudly, I believe that I have experienced all the past, previous and current ADC examination systems for part 1 and part 2 and there are 6 different systems.
I have experienced them closely not just as a candidate but also as an Australian registered dentist and an ADC mentor/ tutor.
And being the FIRST Australian registered dentist who started to provide tutoring for ADC part 1 exam, and helped 1000s of candidates to pass part 1 and part 2 exams. So, I believe I should help all new candidates as well today.
So, please read the following points of my experience carefully as they will help you change your ADC Journey positively.
1- After every new examination: candidates will run to collect questions, which is good to do, but please be careful. These questions cannot be exactly like ADC exam word by word and No one can provide you with exact format of ADC questions.
Q. So what will be the problem?
A. So there will be lots misleading behaviours mainly unintentionally either from candidates or less experienced tutors.
I believe everyone wants to help, but inadequate experience may result in misleading actions and negative outcomes.
I will just give you an example, lots of the new questions that candidates started to circulate them just after Sep 2021 exam are having the following issues:
- incomplete options: the right option is missing.
- Improper scenarios with missing information.
Q. So how that will affect me?
A. You will waste your time searching for the right option, however the question itself missing this option. As a result, you will be disappointed because you cannot find the right answer. Also, because the question having incomplete information so you will not be able to reach the proper diagnosis then the whole management will be wrong too.
2- Based on what happened in the past, ADC will use some new scenarios for MARCH 2022 exam. And I expect that will be the same for the next 3 years.
3- It was easy for me to expect and teach up to 90% of new exam topics because the exam now is about what we are doing here in Australia on daily basis, texts books and google search will not help.
4- As an overseas dentist, it may take some time to understand about our daily clinical experience. In Australia, we have our own unique type of life and dental standards that it takes time to cope with. But, do not worry, you will be fine especially when you do the right thing.
5- Reading text books, and other study materials like dental decks is not right.
6- On daily clinical basis, we are facing different experience with patients from different cultures, ADA, AHPRA, ARPANSA, ASICS, dental specialists, medical doctors, emergency hospitals, legal issues and consents, medical lawyers and disputes, workforce and employee, indemnity insurance, and more and more.
7- It’s a big difference when you deal with these situations on daily basis, OR only read it from books. That is what we call “AUSTRLIAN DENTAL EXPERIENCE” and this is the way that ADC WANTS YOU TO KNOW.
Please READ ADC HANDBOOK TO KNOW WHAT ADC WANTS YOU TO BE.
I wish if I can write everything in one post, but I hope if I could help you with some information today.
Good luck every one, see you soon with all success.
All the best to @everyone
